The Woburn Rotary is looking forward to celebrating their 20th annual R. Wade Johnson Memorial Golf Tournament, which benefits local charities, on Monday, July 14th at the Andover Country Club.

R.Wade Johnson was an active member of the Woburn Rotary for 40 years. He exemplified the spirit of giving which is the essence of the Rotary. 

All proceeds of this tournament go to the local charities supported by the Rotary Club of Woburn (a 501(c)3 Organization), including: Council of Social Concern, NuPath, Social Capital, North Suburban YMCA, Boys and Girls Club of Woburn, Woburn Public Library, Friends of Woburn Hospice, Woburn Historical Society, WREN, WMHS Scholarship Fund, Giving Camp, Gates Challenge, Friends Helping Seniors, Woburn Babe Ruth and Woburn Recreation.  Please register now to show your support!

The Woburn Public Library Foundation would like to cordially invite Woburn Chamber of Commerce members to a brief presentation and reception to introduce you to the foundation dedicated to the preservation of the Library and its 135 year history. The Woburn Chamber of Commerce spoke on behalf of Lawless Jeep and Chrysler for a satellite parking lot on New Boston St. After little discussion, the city council voted 9 -0 to approve it.

Herb Chambers next hearing is June 17th and progress is still being made. Concern is still being raised by the neighbors but we are hoping for a resolution that works for everyone!
