Technological Advancements with Tocci Building Company

The Woburn Public Library was proud to host Tocci Building Company as part of their Innovation Series. The insight into Tocci’s commercial design technology was  fascinating. Building Information Modeling or BMI gives a digital representation of physical and functional characteristics of a facility. A BIM is a shared knowledge resource for information about a facility forming a reliable basis for decisions during it’s life-cycle; defined as existing from earliest conception to demolition. Some of their projects include: The Cove at Johnson and Wales University, Autodesk Headquarters, Marlborough Hospital, Starwood Aloft, and Cedar Crest Village.
