Celebrating 4/19, Paul J. Meaney Day in Woburn

We are pleased to announce that April 19th has been named Paul J. Meaney Day in the City of Woburn. This proclamation was made by Mayor Scott Galvin in honor of Paul’s many years of service to the city of Woburn, his dedication to the community, and his tenure as Executive Director of the Woburn Chamber of Commerce.

Paul served as the Executive Director from 1992 to 2012. In that time he advocated tirelessly at City Hall.

He was always working to find a way to get the best result for everyone involved. Paul cared deeply not just about business but about the people of Woburn and their quality of life.

Thank You to the Landscape Express Design Center for Hosting Us!

Thank you to Greg Kaknes and his friendly Landscape Express Team for hosting our recent “Welcome Spring” network gathering. We all enjoyed exploring the design center and learning more about the possibilities for creating new living space in our outdoor areas. The possibilities can be overwhelming for sure, but the design tools and suggestions available at Landscape Express make it fun and exciting to plan your dream yard!

Landscape Express is hosting Wine and Cheese Open House events every Thursday from 4 to 8 pm until the end of June. If you are a contractor, designer or homeowner looking for ideas and inspiration for outdoor living space- don’t miss it! Find out how they can partner with you for the best results.

Women of Woburn Networking Community, May 18th Luncheon

The Woburn Chamber of Commerce is proud to add the Women of Woburn, a women’s networking community, to our line up. The mission of the Women of Woburn program is to offer women a balanced approach of networking, internal development, attention to important issues, and the comfort to share their ideas through a luncheon hosted by a different member each month.

We’d like to leverage our contacts from the Woburn Chamber of Commerce and create a fun and professional environment of resources, friendships, and opportunities to help meet the challenges of women in business.
