Please consider donating to Supportive Living, Inc. (SLI) and their exciting new “Summer Camp” initiative to provide survivors of brain injuries with a collection of wellness programs and activities designed to enhance healthy living and cognitive fitness.

Here are some great ways you can support their mission:

  • Provide one 10-week music education program scholarship for $100
  • Provide one season-long horticultural program scholarship and all materials for $200
  • Provide a scholarship for a 10-week, three days a week, fitness program including one0on-one time with a trainer and transportation for $300
  • Help fund a transportation van so survivors can participate in a variety of events and activities for $500
  • Enroll as a Wellness Center Sponsor at the $10,000; $5,000; $2,500; or, $1,000 level.

The Women of Woburn luncheon is set for the third Wednesday of the month. Join us on June 15th at the Showcase Cinema and help us to help women connect and grow their business.

The Women of Woburn is a place for women to meet and grow new friendships both professional and personal. It is a place to discuss business and the unique challenges facing women in the business world. It is a place to talk about what is new and exciting as well as get advice on current obstacles.

So, mark your calendar for the third Wednesday of the month and have lunch with your Woburn Chamber of Commerce friends!

Thank you to Timothy Devaney and the Papa Razzi Metro staff who entertained us in great style on their newly renovated “patio” space. We easily fit over 100 people with plenty of room to mingle and enjoy the great food and drinks.

Thank you also to our Vice President, Jack Ferren from Reading Cooperative Bank for organizing this great dual chamber event for us and the Burlington Chamber. We hope to see our new friends again soon and look forward to bringing you even more opportunities to grow your network and your business.

The annual book sale fundraiser for the Friends of the Woburn Library will be on June 4th (from 10 am to 4 pm) and 5th (from 1 to 3 pm) at Spence Farm on Wyman Street. Take advantage of this fun way to stock your shelves with some great reads for the summer and support the library as they begin their long awaited renovations.

Donation fund grant that are made directly to Woburn Educators. The WCEF is a nonprofit organization formed to increase private investment and community involvement in the Woburn Public Schools. Their goal is to support educational programs and initiatives that empower teacher creativity and drive innovation in the classroom beyond that which is possible with public dollars.
