Our Annual Holiday Celebration will be held on December 6th at the Crowne Plaza starting at 5:30 pm. Please join us and help to celebrate 2016. As part of the festivities we will be holding a silent auction to benefit the Council of Social Concern The stalwart Woburn charity does much good for Woburn and surrounding communities. Please help us raise much needed funds for the upcoming year.

The Woburn Chamber of Commerce is hosting a networking event for professionals in the Hospitality, Restaurant and Nightlife industries in Woburn. This inside the industry networking is one of the goals of our newest group under the Woburn Chamber of Commerce umbrella, WHRN. Our Annual Meeting is more than a time to take care of Association business. It is a time to celebrate and honor some of the best parts of the year. Included in that is our yearly surprise of our recipient of the Humanitarian Award. The Business of the Year Award is given to a business who has had an exceptional year based upon growth, community involvement or other substantial developments. The business climate of the upcoming year is addressed and this year the conversation will surround the passage of the new Marijuana Legislation. Specifically we will examine how it will impact business. The evening will begin at 5:30 pm on December 6th at the Crowne Plaza.

Our Holiday Celebration is graciously being planned by Catherine Stevens and her team at the Crowne Plaza/Scoreboards. We will enjoy delicious passed hor d’ouerves, a carving station as well as a pasta station. While we wine and dine we can browse the items up for auction to benefit the Council of Social Concern. Our members have generously donated a huge variety of items and with 100% of the proceeds going to the Council, you can shop and do good at the same time!

2016 has been a year of great growth and excitement at the Woburn Chamber of Commerce. Please come and help us celebrate our success and move forward into 2017 with great hope and faith that more is on the horizon.

Yummm! Yumm Bai Food Truck at Novemberfest

The Woburn Chamber of Commerce’s Young Professionals are at it again! This time they are heading to the Lord Hobo Brewing Company on Draper Street for a night of great beer, food and fun. We are calling it “Novemberfest”.

The Yumm Bai food truck serves delicious American style Chinese food, featuring “Ma’s egg rolls.” Roll right down to Lord Hobo after work and grab a beer and a bite while you meet a whole bunch of other Young Professionals working and living in the Woburn area.

Novemberfest includes a tour of the brewery at 6:30, plenty of freshly brewed IPA’s to sample, life sized games of Jenga and now dinner too.

Women of Woburn November Luncheon

The Women of Woburn are holding their first workshop/luncheon on 11/16 at McLane Middleton, PA. Samantha Stone the author of Unleash Possible, A Marketing Playbook That Drives Sales and founder of the Marketing Advisory Network will lead us in learning more about our personal Brand. We will talk about the opportunity to grow your career and network by clearly defining your brand. Samantha will share stories from her book about her own journey to illustrate examples.

We will be collecting personal care items for donation to women in need. We are asking attendees to please bring two personal care items such as shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, etc.

The Women of Woburn are an umbrella group of the Woburn Chamber of Commerce. We meet monthly for lunch at member businesses.
