Fearlessness as a Daily Practice

 
“Feel the fear and do it anyway” is an oft-quoted mantra, but anyone who’s done this in practice finds that it takes quite a lot of energy to sustain. What if instead of “pushing” and “fighting” you were able to approach the challenges of business and life with ease? 

The practice of fearlessness allows you to instead use that energy to create forward action. Together, we will examine the role of fear in your life and explore the practices that will allow you to move toward being truly fearless.

The YMCA of North Suburban has created a great deal for Woburn Chamber of Commerce members! When signing up to become a member at their location, all Woburn Chamber of Commerce members will receive a 50% on their joiner fees. Also after joining Woburn Chamber of Commerce members will continue to save 10% off their monthly membership discounts. The YMCA currently has a list of members too verify membership within the Woburn Chamber of Commerce but a pay stub, employer badge, or other means of verification will also be needed to obtain the discount.

The YMCA provides many different opportunities to do tons of different activities. With numerous programs, camps, schedules and group classes there is tons of ways for people to be involved or just take advantage of the great facility they offer.

Mayor Scott Galvin reminds qualifying residents to apply for higher education scholarships sponsored in conjunction with Waste Management. Qualifying residents are invited to apply for the scholarship. In order to qualify, applicants must be a Woburn resident, be enrolled in a two year or four year university or college, a trade school or the U.S military. The application deadline is August 21st, 2019. To apply send your name, address, contact phone number, and confirmation of enrollment into any of the above enrollment qualifications to Waste Management Scholarship, c/o Mayor Scott Galvin, 10 Common Street, Woburn, MA 01801.  Winners will be drawn at random on Thursday, August 22, 2019.
